Meet the Attendance Team

The Attendance Team all have a vital role to play in ensuring students attend school and therefore reach their full potential.

Jennifer Clegg
Vice Principal, Attendance

I became Vice Principal for Attendance at Ash Green School in April 2023 having worked as a senior leader in schools for over ten years.

Our attendance target for all students is 96%.

This level of attendance will enable students to achieve their very best so that they feel confident and successful throughout their time at Ash Green School and beyond.

Our Attendance team is there to support all students and parents to overcome any barriers to attendance. Attendance is a partnership between home and school, and we are there to work with parents, carers, and students and to celebrate ongoing success, rewarding students for improved attendance.

Jennifer Toms

Attendance Improvement Manager

I was appointed Attendance Improvement Manager in April 2023 having worked as a Pastoral Manager at Ash Green School since 2018.

Regular school attendance has always been a key priority. The team and I want to work alongside students and families to ensure any barriers are identified and the support is provided.

I am excited to be involved in embedding a culture whereby students attendance success and improvement is also recognised.

Our attendance target for all students is 96%

The attendance team strives for students to reach their full potential, this begins with good school attendance and punctuality.
