2012 GCSE results demonstrate outstanding achievement.
60% 5 A* - C including English and Maths
100% 5 A* - C in any subject
GCSE English - 80% of the students achieved a C grade or better against a national average of 66%
Value Added 1039 – this reflects how much student’s progress. This is an exceptionally high score that places AGS in the top 3% of schools in England.
The bar has now been set at an outstanding level for future years.AGS students have successfully sustained the schools rapid improvement with another outstanding set of results. In 2009 and 2010 AGS was the fourth most improved school in England. Since 2009 we have consistently been in the top 5% of schools in England for student progress.
